Anyone can join Blue Star Mothers,
Look on the ABOUT page to see all of the projects that Blue Star Mothers are involved in! There is certainly a place for you to fit in. Staying busy when a loved one is deployed is very helpful. Many Moms are still active after their child (or spouse, friend...) comes home.
Non-family members can be an Associate Member to Tri-County Blue Star Mothers: a friend, Grandparent, or other relative. The cost is $10. Just use the CONTACT US form, include your address and phone number or email, and we will contact you.Or you can use the contact form to the right or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
To be a Blue Star Mom, you must have a son
or daughter currently serving in an active
duty status in a branch of the service. The cost per year is $20. We have Blue Star Mother pins available for an additional $10.
See the map to our usual meeting place TO THE LEFT. Sometimes we meet in other areas. Would you like a meeting in YOUR rarea? Please use the contact box above to request it!
We meet every month on the LAST Monday
except December. After Cookie season is over we will begin planning our August 23rd Fundraiser event.

TCBSM's volunteer at Charleston's
Ralph Johnson Veteran's Memorial Hospital. A coffee cart goes around to waiting rooms to feed the Vets who come by Vet vans from GA and NC, Horry & Beaufort. Many can't eat until they have a test.
Publix often donates day old pastries, pies, biscuits and Brueggers (see ad to right) donates bagels daily. If you can donate to the VA Volunteer office the vets would appreciate it:) The volunteer kitchen need condiments and coffee, bagel spreads and napkins. Go to the VAMC or email@example.com.
The American Legion Post is across from Howe Hall School on the right coming from Hwy 52. Come in the front door and knock on the door to the left if it is not open. Please come at 6:30 to meet and greet. The meeting starts at 7 and is usually over by 8:30.
Each Spring, Tri-county Blue Star Mothers and families pack and ship thousands of donated dollars worth of community donated Girl Scout cookies overseas. Some stay stateside but most go to deployed troops around the world.
COULD YOU DONATE
TO SHIP A CASE?
We meet the LAST Monday of each month at 6:30pm
at American Legion Post 166 on Howe Hall Road in Goose Creek.
It's Girl Scout Cookie Mailing Time!
Bruegger's Bagel Shop is at
221 Spring Street in Charleston.
This shop donates their leftover bagels to the Veterans Administration Medical Center on Bee Street. Volunteers in the morning serve the bagels with coffee to visitors to the VAMC who may not have had breakfast due to a long van ride from out-of-town. Perhaps they had to have an early fasting test. Please thank and patronize this generous business for the Vets.
USE THE BOX TO THE LEFT
to ask about cookies!
