To be a Blue Star Mom, you must have a son or daughter currently serving in an active duty status in a branch of the service. The cost per year is $20. We have Blue Star Mother pins available for an additional $10.

TCBSM volunteers at Ralph Johnson Veteran's Memorial Hospital on Bee Street in Charleston, SC. A coffee cart follows a course to waiting rooms to Vets and their families so they have coffee and a snack.

What is "Hire Our Heroes"?
Hire Our Heroes (HOH) will provide a free, round-trip ticket to any transitioning veteran (TV) going on a job interview anywhere in the country!
This means YOU!
HOH will provide a free round trip airline ticket to any TV interviewing to secure a job without the means to travel to and from the interview.
This allows TVs the opportunity to interview and secure opportunities prior to making the final transition back into the civilian world. HOH hopes that by providing these benefits to all TVs, the odds of securing employment are greatly increased.
In addition, the idea supports small to medium size businesses by allowing them to tap into an untapped market of talent that they might not typically have access to, due to budget constraints.
To learn more and see if you qualify please visit
An officer from Adjutant General Livingston’s office will come to talk
about the status of the SC National Guard & Suicide in the Military.
